Call of Cthulhu Statue
One of my goals for this project was to portray Cthulu's initial description while having a base set from reality, but the closer you look, the more things don't seem right.
I also had limited time with the Z brush before it ran out and I wanted to test myself in trying to make a hard surface model of a soft-body creature work as a statue.
My initial thinking on why I added extra muscles was that this thing is based upon such a massive creature. It needs more muscles to move and it's immense the fact that it is not from this world.

Techniques: Sculpted, Retopology, UV, Textured, Lighting

I brought it to Maya: Retopology, UV it, set up lighting, then moved it to substance painter for textures, before returning to Maya and rendering it.
